You will also design and deliver workshops on mental health, skills development, and career planning. In addition, you will respond to emergencies and provide crisis intervention. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain excellent working relationships with all departments and colleges across the university

• Facilitate individual and group counseling and career advising sessions for current students and alumni

• Design and deliver student development workshops on mental health, well being, skills development, and career planning

• Create presentations and workshops to raise awareness of counseling services and referral mechanisms

• Liaise with faculty and staff to support student engagement and address student concerns

• Assist and advocate for students with disabilities and medical conditions, in coordination with faculty and supervisors

• Respond to emergencies and provide crisis intervention and appropriate referrals

• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of student support programs

• Prepare and execute an annual activity plan covering mental health, skills, and career workshops

• Manage counseling and career development content on Student Affairs social media platforms

• Supervise the Student Governance Body and conduct training for Student Council and Happiness Committee members

• Maintain accurate and confidential electronic and written student records

• Organize and prioritize caseloads based on student needs and urgency

• Manage student appointment schedules, same day mini appointments, and workshops

• Prepare and submit appropriate reports and documentation

• Work collaboratively with the Line Manager on all student related matters

• Maintain strict confidentiality and contribute proactively to service development

• Adhere to CAA guidelines for ethical practice and professional ethical frameworks

• Participate in extracurricular activities, community events, and university initiatives

• Attend meetings as required and perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Master degree in Psychology or a related field

• Fluency in both English and Arabic is mandatory

• Proven experience in student counseling, student support services, or a related role

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion

• Experience in crisis intervention, mental health support, and student development programs is an advantage

• Strong organizational, time management, and reporting skills

• Familiarity with higher education environments and student affairs operations is highly desirable

• Knowledge of CAA guidelines and professional ethical standards is an advantage
