Classified Jobs UAE (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the website https://classifiedjobs.ae/ and the ClassifiedJobs Android mobile application (together, the “Service”).

This Privacy Policy governs your use of our website and our mobile app, and explains how we collect, safeguard and disclose information that results from your use of our Service.

We use your data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, the terms used here have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions.

Our Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all use of our Service and together with this Privacy Policy constitute your agreement with us (“agreement”).

2. Definitions

SERVICE means the https://classifiedjobs.ae/ website and the ClassifiedJobs Android mobile application operated by Classified Jobs UAE.

When you access the Service with a mobile device, this Usage Data may include the type of device you use, your device unique ID, the IP address of your device, your device operating system, the type of mobile browser you use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

Mobile Application Data

Our ClassifiedJobs Android mobile application collects and processes the following:

  • Account information — if you create an account or sign in, we process your email address, name, and profile details (headline, “about”) to authenticate you and provide account features. Authentication uses a secure token (JWT).
  • Advertising identifiers — the app displays ads through Google AdMob, which may access your device’s advertising ID and other device identifiers to serve and measure ads.
  • Analytics & diagnostics — we use Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand app usage and to collect crash reports and diagnostic data so we can fix problems and improve the app.
  • Push notification token — if you allow notifications, we use Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) and register a device token to send you job alerts and updates. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
  • On-device data — saved jobs, job alerts, search preferences, and a locally selected profile photo may be stored on your device. When you are signed in, your job alerts may also be synced to your account so they are available across sessions.

Location Data

We may use and store information about your location if you give us permission to do so (“Location Data”). We use this data to provide and improve features of our Service, such as showing relevant jobs. You can enable or disable location services at any time through your device settings.

Tracking Cookies and Similar Technologies

On our website we use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity and hold certain information. Cookies are files with a small amount of data which may include an anonymous unique identifier. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent; however, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our website.

Classified Jobs UAE uses the collected data for various purposes:

  • to allow you to participate in interactive features of our Service when you choose to do so;
  • to send you job alerts and notifications you have requested;
  • to provide customer support;
  • to gather analysis or valuable information so that we can improve our Service;
  • to monitor the usage of our Service;
  • to detect, prevent and address technical issues, including app crashes;
  • to serve and measure advertising;
  • to fulfil any other purpose for which you provide it;
  • to carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us;
  • to provide you with notices about your account, including expiration and renewal notices and instructions;
  • to provide you with news, special offers and general information about goods, services and events similar to those you have already purchased or enquired about, unless you have opted out;

We will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period, except where it is used to strengthen security or improve functionality, or where we are legally obligated to retain it for longer.

We use third-party Service Providers (including Google Ads, Google AdSense, and Google AdMob in our mobile app) to show advertisements to you to help support and maintain our Service. These providers may use device identifiers and cookies to serve and measure ads.

16. Behavioral Remarketing

We may use remarketing services to advertise on third-party websites and apps to you after you have visited our Service. We and our third-party vendors use cookies and identifiers to inform, optimise and serve ads based on your past use of our Service.
