About the Role
The Tactical Combat Medical Instructor (TCMI) at Aspen Medical Middle East is responsible for the whole life delivery of military medical training courses in close collaboration with the client. Furthermore, the TCMI operates in a client-facing capacity, upholding the highest personal and professional standards throughout the contract. The role requires a minimum of two years’ instructional experience within a military medicine setting, combined with hands-on military operational experience. Moreover, the successful candidate will report to the Senior Medical Instructor and work closely with the wider training team in Abu Dhabi.
Key Responsibilities for Tactical Combat Medical Instructor
- Lead the delivery of Tactical Combat Medical Instructor courses in close collaboration with the client and training team
- Assist the Senior Medical Instructor on all preparatory and recovery work to facilitate course delivery
- Support the Logistics Manager with all logistic requirements for the whole life delivery of training programmes
- Coordinate with the SME Medical Instructor and SAT SME on course design and subsequent development activities
- Manage written and verbal assessments in close collaboration with the SAT SME and the client
- Monitor and ensure correct implementation of organisational systems including HRMS, DMS, and EMR
- Develop and maintain full compliance with the Company’s Work Ethics and Code of Professional Conduct
- Contribute to the development, review, and evaluation of the Quality Management System
- Promote full compliance with applicable laws and regulations required by governmental agencies
- Perform any additional duties required to successfully deliver the contract to the satisfaction of the client
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from any accredited university
- Minimum four (4) years’ post-qualification experience in a relevant military medical field
- Registered with the relevant pre-hospital body of home jurisdiction
- Demonstrable instructional or platform experience of at least two (2) years
- Demonstrable experience in course curriculum design and Systems Approach to Learning
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency required
- Proficient in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
