Key Responsibilities for Clinical Informatics Specialist
- Oversee and coordinate departmental functions to ensure operational efficiency and service excellence
- Develop, implement, and review standard operating procedures aligned with hospital policies
- Liaise effectively with clinical and administrative teams to facilitate smooth interdepartmental operations
- Prepare accurate reports, data analyses, and recommendations for management review
- Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, hospital accreditation standards, and departmental KPIs
- Manage documentation and data in accordance with confidentiality and information governance protocols
- Support budget monitoring, procurement coordination, and resource management activities
- Participate in hospital committees, working groups, and quality and patient safety initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Business, Health Informatics, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in a healthcare administration or operational management role
- Good working knowledge of UAE healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and accreditation standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and hospital information management systems
- Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills with keen attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic hospital environment
- Experience in data management, operational reporting, and quality improvement processes
