A university in the UAE needs a dedicated Student Support and Case Management Specialist. This full time role focuses on promoting student wellbeing, inclusion, and academic success. You will assist students facing personal, social, or wellbeing challenges. You will provide guidance and coordinate support services. In addition, you will help students access university and external resources. You will handle student complaints, wellbeing concerns, and behavioral incidents. If you hold a bachelor degree in Social Work, Social Services, Community Development, or a related field, this role suits you. Two to four years of experience in student support or case management is required, preferably in higher education.
Handle student complaints, wellbeing concerns, and behavioral incidents
Document and track student cases while maintaining confidentiality
Ensure timely follow up on all student cases
Keep accurate case tracking logs and update records daily
Conduct wellbeing check ins with students facing personal, social, or academic challenges
Provide guidance and practical support for navigating university life
Identify students who need additional assistance
Coordinate referrals to appropriate university or external support services
Monitor and follow up on student wellbeing cases to ensure proper intervention
Coordinate academic and campus accommodations for Students of Determination
Work with faculty and relevant departments to implement inclusive practices
Maintain documentation for accommodations and support plans
Assist in coordinating Peer Tutor and Peer Mentor programs
Support recruitment, scheduling, and monitoring of peer support activities
Coordinate workshops and training sessions for academic success
Help plan, execute, and promote wellbeing events and awareness campaigns
Coordinate logistics and liaise with departments and partners
Assist in updating section policies and procedures
Align all policies with university strategies and standards
Prepare reports related to student wellbeing services and activities
Perform other duties as assigned by your line manager
Bachelor degree in Social Work, Social Services, Community Development, or a related field
Two to four years of experience in student support services, social work, community support, or case management
Experience in a higher education environment is preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to support students from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds
Case management and student support coordination skills
Knowledge of student wellbeing, inclusion, and accessibility practices
Strong organisational and administrative skills
Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and external partners
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and student case tracking systems
English fluency is required
Arabic and French are added advantages
