About the Role

As an FP&A Manager at Abbott Laboratories, you will provide expert financial analysis, forecasting, and insights to influence strategic decision-making and support organizational objectives. Furthermore, this position works out of the UAE office in the Medical Devices division, which helps more than 10,000 people have healthier hearts and improves quality of life for thousands living with chronic conditions. Moreover, you will be responsible for financial modeling and consulting on matters related to setting up a new manufacturing site.

Key Responsibilities for FP&A Manager at Abbott Laboratories Dubai

• Lead the review and analysis of financial statements, capital expenditure requests, and purchase orders
• Conduct pricing analysis, gross margin and COGS analysis, and profitability reviews
• Prepare profit plans, long-range planning analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Manage resource allocation, headcount planning, and supply chain analytics
• Develop 10-year P&L models, discounted cash flow analysis, and payback period calculations
• Perform sensitivity analysis on price and volume and assess different product portfolios
• Maintain controls to ensure integrity of assets and compliance with applicable policies
• Support journal entry preparation and cash flow analysis activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
• 4–5 years of relevant experience in a similar FP&A role and segment
• Strong financial modeling skills including DCF and P&L analysis
• Experience with manufacturing site financial planning is an advantage
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
• Knowledge of localization scenarios and economic participation investments
