Zayed University is hiring a Senior Payroll and Reporting Officer Dubai Main Campus, Dubai, AE in Dubai Main Campus, Dubai, AE. This is a full-time position.

Zayed University needs an HR Information Systems and Payroll Coordinator to maintain and support its HR Management system. This full time role involves ensuring that all employee information, remuneration, and benefits are provided in a timely and accurate manner. You will also ensure compliance with policies and guidelines. In addition, you will act as the focal point for core HR information system and data management expertise. If you have a bachelor degree in Information Technology or Human Resources Management with at least three years of relevant experience, this role is for you. Strong data management and advanced Excel skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities for Senior Payroll and Reporting Officer Dubai Main Campus, Dubai, AE

• Audit employee files for vacation tickets, special allowances, cash housing, and other benefits. Ensure that all payroll documents and other assignment related papers are filed in each employee’s personnel file. Track employee contract end dates and terminate leaver records.
• Update employee information in Oracle for new hires, transfers, promotions, and other changes. Work with the Senior Payroll and Reporting Specialist to create and manage position lines in Oracle. Ensure accurate and timely updates of employee assignment data. This includes position details, job information, probation end dates, Emirates ID, and contact information.
• Manage and update the employee reporting hierarchy in Oracle. Provide IT with updated employee information for e signature blocks in Outlook. Generate position reports such as complement lists, ZU employee lists, and other reports from the Fusion system as needed.
• Maintain up to date knowledge of payroll, benefit, and Employee Self Service systems. Audit payroll records before final processing. Process cash in lieu of vacation ticket requests and check eligibility for this benefit.
• Process EID and visa fee reimbursements or recovery requests submitted by employees. Process cheque payments for international new hires. Update banking details for new and existing employees. Process cash housing updates and other allowances and recoveries. Finally, support the Senior Payroll and Reporting Specialist in processing payroll.

Qualifications

You need a bachelor degree in Information Technology or Human Resources Management from an accredited institution. A minimum of three years of experience in a relevant field is required. An equivalent combination of experience and education may also be considered. Proven data management and advanced Excel experience are essential. You must be able to accurately document and enhance process flows. Extensive knowledge of HR systems is required. You should also be able to work in a high volume, fast paced environment and adjust to changing deadlines. Excellent written and verbal English skills are necessary.
