Login to Send MessageA capable and detail‑driven Senior Officer Human Resources is needed to support the efficient functioning of HR operations at a respected government school in Dubai. This full time role is open only to UAE nationals. You will provide guidance to department heads and employees on career development, employee relations, workplace ethics, and performance management. HR policies and best practices will be interpreted and applied by you to meet legal requirements. You will also review and improve HR functions, processes, and systems that support the school’s mission and vision. The following tasks will be performed by the Senior Officer Human Resources
Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job descriptions, adverts, shortlisting, interviewing, and background checks
Prepare and issue job offer letters, employment contracts, and contract variations as requested
Organise new employee orientation, on‑boarding, and training programmes
Manage the health insurance scheme, including new cards, renewals, replacements, and travel assurance certificates
Work closely with the Public Relations Officer for employment visa processing, renewals, and cancellations
Maintain and update the HR Information System (HRMS) to ensure accurate personnel records at all times
Oversee the issuance of business cards and the distribution of all employee benefits
Provide back‑up support for payroll and ensure staff receive correct and timely payments
Apply retirement provisions as stated in the Human Resources Management Law and the Federal Pension Law
Prepare end‑of‑service statements after investigating the reason for departure
Keep the staff handbook comprehensive and up‑to‑date
Plan annual and monthly training needs analyses (TNA) with line managers, monitor training costs, and source external providers
Prepare annual, monthly, and quarterly HR reports, including KPIs and audit reports
Maintain employee leave records, send reminders to avoid leave accumulation, and follow up on pending AMANAT HRMS applications
Participate in investigations when employee complaints or concerns arise
Develop annual HR objectives and social events in collaboration with the HR team
Draft and update job description cards for all current and new roles
Lead the job evaluation and analysis process, ensuring compliance with DGHR Law
Build external networks with universities and employment agencies to attract talent
Issue official letters such as employment and salary certificates
Ensure employees’ health, safety, and welfare are maintained as per school policies
You need a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration from an accredited university. You must have three to five years of working experience in a related field. UAE nationality is required for this position. Strong knowledge of local labour laws and government HR regulations is expected. Excellent organisational and communication skills are essential.
A monthly salary between 20,001 and 30,000 AED is offered, tax‑free. The school provides a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, annual leave, and end‑of‑service gratuity as per UAE labour law. Additional government employee benefits apply.
