Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Arabic lessons to native speakers in secondary years, following the UAE Ministry of Education curriculum. Plan engaging lessons that challenge students and support high levels of achievement.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback. Use a variety of teaching methods to develop reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in Arabic.
• Promote UAE values and national identity through your teaching practice. Help students appreciate their cultural heritage while achieving academic success.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment where every student feels respected and motivated. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Contribute positively to the wider school community. Participate in staff meetings, parent evenings, and school events as required. Finally, use Google software for planning, assessment, and communication as the school values digital literacy.

Qualifications

You need a relevant teaching qualification such as PGCE, BEd, or equivalent, plus an Arabic degree from an accredited university. Possessing relevant subject teaching experience of Ministry of Education Arabic to native students up to Year 13 is a strong advantage. You must have excellent spoken English to collaborate with international colleagues. A working knowledge of Google software including Google Classroom and Google Drive is desirable.
