Core Clinical Faculty – Instructor (Emirati Preferred) RAK Medical and Health Sciences University

RAK Medical and Health Sciences University needs a General Practitioner to join its Core Clinical Faculty . This full time role involves designing and delivering teaching and learning activities. You will also conduct and evaluate student assessments. In addition, you will provide academic advising and support student research and community activities. You will coordinate with adjunct clinical faculty and relevant departments including Student Affairs, IT, Examinations, and Quality Assurance. If you hold an MBBS or MD from an internationally recognized institution, this role suits you. A valid MOHAP or EHS license as a General Practitioner is mandatory. One year of post degree experience in academic teaching or clinical practice is required.

Key Responsibilities for Core Clinical Faculty

• Design and deliver teaching and learning activities for medical students

• Conduct student assessments and evaluate performance

• Provide academic advising to support student success

• Support student research projects and community activities

• Coordinate with adjunct clinical faculty across various departments

• Liaise with Student Affairs, IT, Examinations, and Quality Assurance teams

• Engage actively in research and scholarship

• Publish recent research in indexed journals

• Apply sound knowledge of medical education principles and practices

• Maintain excellent command and communication skills in English

• Perform other academic duties as assigned

Qualifications

• MBBS or MD from an internationally recognized institution

• Valid MOHAP or EHS license as a General Practitioner (mandatory)

• Minimum of one year of post degree experience in academic teaching or clinical practice

• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver teaching activities

• Experience in student assessment and evaluation

• Active engagement in research with recent publications in indexed journals

• Sound knowledge of medical education principles

• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills

• Valid passport and ready to join by August 2026
