City University Ajman needs a motivated International Student Coordinator to join its team. This full time role involves recruiting international students and achieving enrollment targets. You will also maintain student retention rates as set by management. You will provide pastoral care for international students. In addition, you will coordinate with schools, associations, corporations, and government organizations. You will also assist with admission inquiries and convert inquiries into enrollments. If you hold a bachelor degree in a relevant field with at least one year of experience in student recruitment or admissions, this role suits you. Fluency in English is a must.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit international students and achieve registration targets set by management

• Maintain student retention rates as required

• Provide pastoral care for international students

• Coordinate with schools, associations, corporations, and government organizations

• Maintain relationships with these partners and offer different activities

• Coordinate with government and private organizations to secure short courses and training

• Maintain excellent relationships with communities and students

• Assist with admission inquiries and provide accurate information

• Convert inquiries into admissions when required

• Fill out UMS admission forms and proceed to Accounts Department for payments

• Collect all required documents according to course checklists or file checklists

• File and keep records for the student database

• Produce documents when requested

• Assist with formal and informal student feedback

• Update and maintain course results in Excel sheets

• Maintain attendance records for all courses

• Register students in offered courses, units, or papers by completing all documents

• Coordinate with parents of all students

• Keep parent contact records up to date

• Inform parents of activities, events, monthly attendance reports, grade reports, and assignment deadlines

• Produce accurate enrollment reports daily and send them to the Director of Enrollment

• Report all issues and complaints to the Director of Enrollment for immediate solutions

• Coordinate with Accounts Department for receivables

• Prioritize tasks as instructed from the President’s Office

• Attend meetings when required

• Perform other related duties as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a relevant field

• A minimum of one year of experience in student recruitment, admissions, or a related role

• Experience in a university or educational setting is preferred

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

• Fluency in English is a must

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant database management software

• Demonstrated passion for international student recruitment and engagement
