Temporary Admissions Manager – English/Arabic Speaker Dubai, UAE Full-time NEW

Taaleem needs an experienced Admissions Manager to lead student recruitment and enrollment. This full time role involves setting up the admissions team and working closely with the founding Principal and Head of Admissions. Your main goal is to achieve or exceed the opening admissions target. In addition, you will provide a high level of customer service to all prospective families. You will manage the application approvals process with the Principal, Heads of School, and the SEN team. You will also oversee registration with KHDA or ADEK. Key Responsibilities

• Set up the Admissions Team and recruit students. Work closely with the founding Principal and Head of Admissions. Provide regular updates on admissions data to the Principal, CO, and SLT.
• Work closely with the Marketing Executive. Determine and implement a PR and marketing strategy for the school. Report enrollment figures weekly, including the four pillars of admissions: enrollment, leavers, assessments, and tour
• Complete a monthly report for the SLT and Central Office. Summarize successes and changes in the admissions department. Manage the application approvals process with relevant leaders.
• Liaise with the Accounts Department. Issue invoices for new students. Ensure all data is current on NetSuite and the CRM system. Provide high quality customer care for all admissions enquiries.
• Develop and conduct school tours for prospective families. Meet parents interested in enrolling their children. Manage and conduct assessments including those from overseas. Liaise with Heads of School, EAL, and SEN staff.
• Oversee student registration on KHDA or ADEK systems. Maintain and secure all student files, both paper and electronic. Ensure efficiency of the admissions process throughout the year
• Manage placement tests or interviews for new entrants. Arrange class placement with approval from Heads of Sections. Manage the initial induction of new families and pupils. Oversee wait lists and ensure the admissions policy is transparent. Finally, review admissions policies and procedures with the Principal.

Qualifications

You need a bachelor degree in a relevant field. Previous experience in admissions is preferred but not essential. However, three or more years of sales, marketing, or customer service experience in a related service delivery industry is required. You must be well organized with excellent customer service skills. A sound knowledge of the school and curriculum is an asset. You need exemplary written and spoken English and Arabic. Strong computer skills using Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint are essential. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills are also required.
