City University Ajman needs a proactive Student Placement Assistant to join its Placement Office. This full time role involves coordinating internship programs, managing graduate data, and analyzing surveys. You will also strengthen employer relations. Your work will directly enhance student employability outcomes. You will help improve placement processes and support career development initiatives across the university. If you hold a bachelor degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, or a related field, this role suits you. Experience in placements, career services, or academic administration is preferred.
Assist in coordinating and administering internship courses across all academic programs
Ensure internship placements meet academic requirements and follow established timelines
Liaise with academic departments to integrate internships smoothly within the curriculum
Maintain accurate documentation of internship agreements, placements, and evaluation records
Oversee the distribution and collection of Employer Satisfaction and Alumni Surveys
Analyze survey data and generate insightful reports for decision making
Keep organized records of survey responses and prepare periodic reports
Maintain and update the Graduate Master Sheet with accurate and complete data
Track graduate employment outcomes and generate placement related insights
Prepare regular and ad hoc reports on internships, placements, employer engagement, and alumni feedback
Assist in building and maintaining relationships with employers and industry partners
Support onboarding of new partners for internships and job placements
Facilitate communication between employers and students when needed
Prepare and manage Memorandums of Understanding with external partners
Support the planning and execution of career fairs, employer events, and networking sessions
Coordinate event logistics, communication, and post event follow ups
Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve operational efficiency
Help develop digital systems such as internship tracking tools and survey platforms
Collaborate with IT teams to implement system enhancements
Perform other related duties as required
Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, or a related field
Experience in placements, career services, academic administration, or a related role is preferred
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency in MS Office and data management systems
Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
