About the Role

As PA to the Principal at Al Shohub Private School, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to the school leadership team. Furthermore, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, families, and staff while managing critical administrative functions including staff records, payroll coordination, and recruitment support. Moreover, this bilingual position requires a highly organised and professional individual who can maintain confidentiality, prioritise workload, and use initiative in a busy school environment. The role requires an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors and handle queries from families, visitors, staff, and children professionally
• Support the administration and organisation of school trips and visits
• Maintain staff files and records including payroll coordination
• Facilitate the transfer of documents to and from Aldar Education HQ
• Support the recruitment process including taking up references for new staff
• Line manage the work of other administrative staff
• Maintain accuracy of the school database including parent portal, Engage, and MIS systems
• Follow school EHS guidelines and all policies and procedures

Requirements

• Minimum diploma or degree of higher education, or related industry qualification at graduate level
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar PA or administrative role
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic
• Excellent IT literacy and efficient administrative skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and deal professionally with multiple stakeholders
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
• Approachable, professional, calm, and knowledgeable demeanour
