Pearl British Academy, part of the Aldar Education network, is seeking an outstanding Key Stage Leader for Lower Primary to join for the 2026/2027 academic year. Additionally, this school was the first Aldar Academies school founded in 2007 and has been awarded the accolade of being the first High Performance Learning school in Abu Dhabi.

About the Role

As a Key Stage Leader at Pearl British Academy, you will develop and implement policies and practices that reflect the school’s vision and commitment to high standards of achievement. Furthermore, you will use data effectively to identify underachieving students and create targeted action plans to support their progress. Moreover, you will evaluate the quality of teaching and learning across your department and take action to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement policies reflecting the school’s vision and high standards of achievement
• Establish, monitor, and evaluate short, medium, and long-term plans for department development
• Use data to identify underachieving students and create action plans to support them
• Analyse and interpret school data to inform policies and department SEF writing
• Ensure appropriate schemes of work including SEN, G&T, and EAL provision
• Set expectations for staff regarding standards of achievement and teaching quality
• Performance manage team in accordance with school policy
• Manage department resource and CapEx budgets efficiently

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related subject with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
• Minimum 6 years of teaching experience
• Experience of the UK curriculum with proven leadership at various levels
• Proven track record of implementing strategies to raise standards
• A commitment to an extensive enrichment programme
• Passionate and caring educator with strong leadership skills
• Satisfactory references and police clearance required
