ISCS Nad Al Sheba is hiring a Science Teacher – Secondary (AY 26-27) Dubai, UAE in Dubai, UAE. This is a full-time position.

The International School of Creative Science in Dubai needs a creative Science Teacher to join its British curriculum team. This full time role involves teaching General Science to secondary students. You will develop schemes of work and lesson plans that follow the UK National Curriculum. Your goal is to inspire pupils and help them deepen their scientific knowledge. You will also prepare students for examinations. If you have a bachelor degree in Science or a related subject and a UK teaching qualification such as PGCE or QTS, this role is for you. A minimum of two years of teaching experience in the UK National Curriculum is required.

Key Responsibilities for Science Teacher

• Develop schemes of work and lesson plans that align with curriculum objectives. Plan engaging Science lessons that include hands on experiments and investigations. Use data to differentiate instruction for students of all abilities.
• Facilitate learning by building strong relationships with pupils. Organize learning resources effectively. Create a classroom environment that supports deep understanding and critical thinking.
• Assess and record student progress regularly. Provide constructive feedback to help pupils improve. Prepare students for examinations successfully.
• Link pupils’ current knowledge to earlier learning. Challenge and inspire them to deepen their understanding. Develop social skills and abilities appropriate to age, aptitude, and cultural background.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student achievement. Participate in professional development opportunities. Finally, maintain a healthy, inclusive learning environment for all children.

Qualifications

You need a bachelor degree in Science or a related subject. A UK teaching qualification such as PGCE or QTS is essential. A minimum of two years of teaching experience or teaching practice in the UK National Curriculum is required. Knowledge of data disaggregation, analysis, and differentiation for students is important. You must have recent knowledge and understanding of safeguarding. A proven track record of securing outstanding results through high quality teaching is essential. The ability to use data effectively to monitor and enhance student progress is also required.
