About the Role
As a Staff Nurse – Emergency TP at American Hospital Dubai, you will be at the forefront of emergency patient care, rapidly assessing and managing patients presenting with acute and life-threatening conditions. You will operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where quick clinical decision-making is essential to positive patient outcomes. Moreover, you will work closely with emergency physicians, paramedics, and specialist teams to ensure seamless emergency response. This role is ideal for a skilled nurse with strong clinical instincts and composure under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments on admission and throughout the care episode, identifying and prioritising clinical needs
- Develop, implement, and regularly evaluate individualised nursing care plans based on evidence-based practice guidelines
- Administer prescribed medications, IV therapies, and treatments accurately and in accordance with physician orders
- Monitor and document vital signs, clinical observations, and patient responses to treatment in the EHR system
- Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff to coordinate holistic, patient-centred care
- Provide patient and family education on diagnoses, medications, procedures, and post-discharge care
- Maintain a safe clinical environment by adhering to infection control, hand hygiene, and patient safety protocols
- Respond promptly to patient deterioration, following BLS/ACLS protocols and escalating to the medical team as required
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited university or nursing school
- Current DHA/HAAD nursing licence or documented eligibility for UAE nursing licensure
- Minimum 2 years of post-registration clinical experience in a relevant nursing specialty
- Valid BLS certification; ACLS or PALS certification required or preferred depending on the clinical area
- Proficiency in electronic health record documentation; experience with Oracle Health or similar systems is an advantage
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, fast-paced hospital environment as part of a collaborative team

Salary & Benefits
The estimated salary range for the Staff Nurse – Emergency TP position at American Hospital Dubai is between AED 8,000 and AED 18,000 per month, commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience.
