Job Purpose of A Billing Accountant
The job purpose of a Senior Billing Accountant is to oversee and manage the billing process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency while maintaining compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Your Job Duties As A Senior Billing Accountant
- All billing formalities pertaining to discharge of Inpatients and day case patients.
- Checking of Insurance / Credit Companies bills on a day to day basis.
- Submission and filling of insurance claims / invoices and relevant documents.
- Entering Patient Charge Sheet, Telephone and Cafeteria bills for Inpatients on a day to day basis.
- Covering Cashier whenever required.
- Follow-up with patients outstanding and insurance rejection.
- Supports the Hospital Policies and Procedures.Supports the Department Policies.
- Timely and meets deadlines.
- Maintain upto date knowledge of Departmental policies and procedures.
- Attends meetings relating to Safety, Environment of Care and infection controls.
- Proficient in spreadsheet.
- Proficient in the software modules.

Experience
- Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in similar field.
