Al Ain English Speaking School needs an enthusiastic Primary Key Stage 2 Teacher for August 2026. This full time role involves teaching the British Curriculum to children aged 7 to 11. Key Responsibilities for Primary Key Stage 2 Teacher
Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 2 students. Follow the National Curriculum for British Schools. Create a well organised and inspiring learning environment.
Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback. Set high expectations for achievement and behaviour. Use performance data to plan lessons and interventions.
Prepare informative reports for parents. Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues both in and out of school.
Promote a positive approach to pupils. Encourage children to become responsible and enterprising global citizens. Support the school’s commitment to mental well being and academic excellence.
Participate in professional development and reflect on your practice. Strive for constant improvement in all aspects of school life. Finally, contribute to extracurricular activities and the wider school community.
Qualifications
You need a recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, BEd, or equivalent. Experience teaching the National Curriculum in British Schools is essential. You must be an enthusiastic and consistently strong practitioner. A sound knowledge of primary education is required. You should enjoy being part of a professionally stimulating environment. Middle management positions might be available for suitable candidates.
