About the Role
The Physical Therapist – TP at American Hospital Dubai will assess, plan, and deliver individualised therapeutic interventions across a range of clinical presentations. You will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and the multidisciplinary rehabilitation team to develop comprehensive treatment plans. Furthermore, you will monitor patient progress, adjust goals as clinically indicated, and provide education to support long-term functional recovery. This role combines clinical expertise with a passion for patient-centred rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including functional status, range of motion, strength, and rehabilitation needs
- Develop individualised, goal-oriented treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the multidisciplinary team
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise
- Monitor patient progress, reassess treatment goals, and modify care plans as clinically indicated
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programmes, injury prevention, and self-management strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health colleagues to coordinate comprehensive care
- Participate in departmental meetings, clinical audits, and continuing professional development activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant allied health, clinical science, or technical discipline
- Current DHA/HAAD licence or documented eligibility for UAE allied health professional licensure
- Minimum 2–3 years of post-qualification clinical experience in a relevant specialty
- Relevant specialist certification (e.g., CT/MRI certification, physiotherapy board registration) as applicable
- Strong patient assessment, clinical reasoning, and procedural skills
- Proficiency in clinical documentation and relevant departmental information systems
- Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork skills with a commitment to patient-centred care

Salary & Benefits
