You will also perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance. In addition, you will troubleshoot mechanical issues and identify root causes. If you have two to five years of hands on experience in mechanical maintenance or technical work, this role suits you. Familiarity with industrial equipment and machinery is required.

Key Responsibilities for Mechanical Technician Institute of Applied Technology

• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment and systems

• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance tasks

• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and find the root cause of problems

• Operate tools and machinery such as lathes, grinders, and welding equipment
