The British International School Abu Dhabi is looking for an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join its dedicated team starting in mid August 2026. This full time role is based in Abu Dhabi and is open to qualified teachers with strong experience of the UK national curriculum. If you love helping students build confidence with numbers, algebra, and problem solving, this position offers a rewarding platform. You will teach mathematics across secondary year groups, following the English National Curriculum to IGCSE and the IB Diploma Programme. The closing date for applications is 30th April 2026.

Key Responsibilities for Maths Teacher Nord Anglia Education Abu Dhabi, AE

• Plan and deliver engaging maths lessons that follow the UK national curriculum, IGCSE, and IB Diploma Programme. Inspire students of all ages and abilities to develop strong mathematical reasoning and problem solving skills.
• Teach a range of maths topics including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and statistics. Use plentiful classroom resources to support differentiated learning.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback. Prepare students for external examinations and monitor their achievement closely.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, keeping them informed of student progress and areas for improvement. Work closely with colleagues in the maths department and across the school.
• Encourage and develop a culture of inspiration, enjoyment, and success in mathematics. Participate fully in extra curricular activities such as maths clubs or competition teams.
• Continuously improve your own teaching practice through professional development. Finally, contribute to the wider life of the school community including events and assemblies.

Qualifications

You need a recognized teaching qualification and strong experience with the UK national curriculum. Further experience in international education is an added advantage. The school looks for an excellent communicator who works well with students, parents, and colleagues.
