Bursar and Administrative Officer- JINS Palm Jumeirah Full-time

The Bursar and Administrative Officer position focuses on maintaining accurate financial records while ensuring efficient day to day administrative processes within the nursery. This role requires strong attention to detail, solid accounting knowledge, and the ability to communicate clearly with parents and staff. It is a key role that supports both financial health and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities for Bursar and Administrative Officer

• Manage daily accounting tasks including invoicing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records in line with company policies and accounting standards
• Monitor outstanding fees and coordinate with parents to ensure timely payment collection
• Prepare monthly financial statements and assist with month end and year end closing activities
• Oversee petty cash handling and support bank account administration
• Ensure compliance with VAT regulations and internal financial procedures
• Provide financial updates and administrative support to internal teams when required

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or commerce is required
• Minimum of two years of experience in accounting or finance roles
• Strong numerical ability with high attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Good communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with parents and staff
• Prior experience in administrative support alongside accounting duties is preferred
