Job Purpose of A Recovery & Billing Manager

  • Achieve annual net revenue improvement targets as well as top performance to industry bench marks through industry leading practices and technology.
  • Providing technical & change management expertise to improve various revenue management processes at business entity along with monitoring all billing activities related to submission, resubmission and recovery.

Your Job Duties As A Recovery & Billing Manager (Revenue Management) At SSMC Abu Dhabi UAE

  • Manages the continuum of revenue cycle best practices and processes from patient access to collections & revenue recognition.
  • Communicates with all constituents, including physicians, third party payers, colleagues and other management and executive team members.
  • Monitors established goals for quality and production levels, leads the allocation of staff resources assigned to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Facilitates provision of process & technology training to fellows to achieve KPI goals.
  • Maintains positive relations with leadership at the business entity to ensure communication regarding service level performance and timely issue resolution.
  • Collaborates with clinical and revenue cycle leadership in defining and implementing leading best practices.
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement utilizing an integrated approach between people, process and technology.
  • Implements standards, programs, policies, and procedures that guide and support the provision of services within the revenue cycle.
  • Reconciles the outstanding accounts and preparing follow up for past due accounts.
  • Enables financial recovery reporting for SSMC leaders and support for contract negotiation with payers, especially DAMAN.
  • Oversees daily, weekly & Monthly general revenue & Denial reports.
  • Ensures that Insurance documents are properly filled and claiming the related amount.
  • Serves to negotiate and communicate clinical claim denials with internal clinical staff and the financial services department, as well as external claims representatives of a variety of insurers.
  • Provides technical training to junior staff.
  • Provides all kinds of information and training needed by cashiers and clerk regarding the insurance and billing system.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of UAE laws with regards to billing.
  • Participates in cross functional teams and committees as appropriate.
  • Keep correct records of client accounts and outstanding balances.
  • Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and compare system reports to balances.
  • Maintains records.

Qualification & Experience?

Qualification Required

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration / Accounting (Billing) / Finance / Commerce.

Or

  • Diploma in relevant field with 3 years of experience.

Qualification Desired

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration / Accounting (billing) / Finance / Commerce.

Certification

  • Recognized accountancy qualification such as CMA, CPA, ACCA, ACA, CA,CFA.

Experience

  • 4-6 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in a large health care facility is a plus.

Skills Desired

  • Proficiency in the English & Arabic.
  • MS office and computer know how.
  • Ability to meet goals.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to deal with multiple issues.
