About the Role
The Billing Analytics and Reconciliation Specialist at King’s College Hospital London UAE is responsible for ensuring the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of billing, reconciliation, and revenue reporting across all hospital locations. Furthermore, the role focuses on identifying revenue leakages, validating charge capture, and reconciling financial and operational data. Moreover, this position supports timely collections and maintains key performance indicators for the revenue cycle management team.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all services, procedures, and consumables are billed correctly across all hospital locations
- Review transactions to detect missing charges, incorrect allocations, and system mismatches
- Perform periodic reconciliation across all hospitals to ensure billing and financial accuracy
- Monitor receivables including self-pay and insurance accounts
- Coordinate with Legal on escalated cases, preparing case summaries and documentation
- Prepare group-wide billing dashboards and financial performance reports
- Generate utilization, AR ageing, and variance analysis reports
- Conduct periodic audits on billing, charge capture, refunds, and reconciliation
- Support process improvement efforts to enhance accuracy and efficiency
- Collaborate closely with Billing, RCM, Finance, Legal, and Clinical teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- 3-5 years of experience in hospital billing, reconciliation, MIS, or Revenue Cycle Management
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI for data analysis and reporting
- Working knowledge of Hospital Information Systems including Cerner and Oracle
- Solid understanding of hospital billing workflows and charge-capture practices
- Familiarity with medical terminology and basic medical coding concepts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
