About the Role

As a Finance Analyst at Abbott Laboratories, you will provide critical financial support and counsel to country management across the Gulf and Pakistan markets. Furthermore, you will oversee and coordinate key aspects of financial planning processes including forecasting, management reporting, and internal controls. Moreover, this role ensures alignment with the Middle East, Turkey, and Pakistan Regional HQ while maintaining the integrity and validity of financial information critical for timely and informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities for Finance Analyst Gulf and Pakistan at Abbott Laboratories Dubai

• Support forecasting and business reviews on a monthly and quarterly basis across Gulf and Pakistan markets
• Work closely with country teams on revenue and expense forecasting, headcount, and investment data for LBEs
• Manage and coordinate country business partners on business review presentations and related analysis
• Develop business cases for new product launches, tenders, and other country-level projects
• Coordinate with country teams to identify new business opportunities and growth areas
• Assist Region HQ Function Managers and Country Management with ad hoc reports and analyses
• Continually improve current operations through process improvements and value-added analytics
• Ensure compliance with corporate and local policies and procedures at all times

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics is required; MBA or professional qualification preferred
• At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in financial planning and analysis
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is strongly preferred
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office programs
• Experience with Cognos-based systems is an added asset
• Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and ability to work under tight delivery timelines
• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders across cultural and functional boundaries
