Job Purpose of An Anaesthesia Technician
To work as part of theatre team in providing quality care to patients undergoing anaesthesia and to provide skilled clinical and technical assistance to the anaesthetist.
Your Job Duties As An Anaesthesia Technician At Mediclinic City Hospital Dubai (UAE)
- To provide a high standard of care pre, during & post anaesthesia for patients following Hospital guidelines & OT standards.
- To ensure that the operation theatre and supplies are prepared & that all anaesthetic equipment is cleaned, sterilised and disinfected pre operative & post operative.
- Control all anaesthetic stock, medication and equipment.
- Maintain patient records & documentation.
- To actively promote patient satisfaction.
- Peform any other job related tasks as asked.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification
- Diploma in anaesthetic technology from an accredited institution, college or university.
License
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as Anaesthesia Technician according to UAE requirements.
- Licensed in country of origin.
Certification
- Current and valid ACLS certification & Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate.
Experience
- 2 years experience as an Anaesthesia Technician in a hospital environment.
Skills Required
- Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Stock control principles and management.
