Key Responsibilities

• Support the execution of media and public relations activities. Enhance the university’s image and public presence. Coordinate with internal departments to collect information and media materials.
• Draft and prepare initial content for news articles, blog posts, and social media updates. Write in both Arabic and English. Ensure all content is accurate before publishing. Check names, dates, and details carefully.
• Manage and update social media accounts in coordination with the team. Post regularly and engage with followers. Support coverage of university events across various media platforms.
• Follow up on the preparation of designs and advertisements. Work with internal departments and team members. Assist in preparing periodic reports related to campaigns and media activities.
• Coordinate with external entities when required. Organize and maintain media files including photos, videos, and archives. Finally, coordinate between Al Ain and Abu Dhabi campuses as needed. Undertake other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

You need a bachelor degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. Zero to two years of experience in media or public relations is required. Strong writing skills in Arabic are essential. English is an added advantage. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary. You must have the ability to manage multiple tasks with strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to feedback is important. Basic knowledge of social media platforms and content types is required. Familiarity with basic design tools such as Canva or similar is also needed.
