Warehouse Keeper Ras Al-Khaimah Airport Ras Al-Khaimah UAE

Warehouse Keeper at Ras Al-Khaimah Airport will be responsible to procure, store and issue supplies in a supply operation; process and maintain inventory records; modify and implement inventory control and disposal procedures; perform related work.

Responsibilities of Warehouse Keeper

• Maintain inventory control and accuracy by conducting regular physical counts, reconciling variances and recording data in the inventory management system.
• Produce regular inventory reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation.
• Maintain stock levels by checking stock on hand against sales reports.
• Receive, unload and shelve supplies, Coordinate inventory transfer with related departments.
• Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing and labelling supplies.
• Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping.
• Rotate stock and coordinate the disposal of surpluses, keep track of slow-moving items, nearly expire items.
• Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control.
• Items code creation and Scanning labels in the inventory system.
• Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies.
• Maintain log register that identify the details of persons that accessed the premises, including authorised personnel and visitors.
• Ensure that adequate and stringent security measures are in place to control, monitor and safeguard the excise goods within the designated zone.
• Ensure that excise goods to be stored in separate identifiable locations that are clearly marked.
• Maintain the warehouse according to the FTA guidelines.
• Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all warehouse activities.

Requirements for Role of Warehouse Keeper

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration.
• 3-5 years of experience in the logistics, warehouse or inventory field in any industry.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

• Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management.
• Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment.
