Job Overview for a UX Researcher

A Senior UX Researcher at Talabat will guide multiple research projects with various complexities, ranging from tactical to strategic research requiring strong reasoning skills.

Responsibilities of a UX Researcher

• Operate as a partner with product management, engineering, and design in defining a customer centric approach to product development.
• Identify the best research approach to inform product development which could be a mix of quantitative, qualitative and participatory design methods.

• Effectively share data and insights with Stakeholders to guide strategy and design direction.
• Continually grow and improve the craft of UX research.
• Be a key player of a user driven culture.
• Focus on impacting multiple levels of Stakeholders up to C-level.

Eligibility Criteria

• 3 years + in a UX research related role.
• Master’s Degree in Technology.
• Experience with service design or employee workflow products is a plus.

Knowledge and Skills

• A current online portfolio that demonstrates your knowledge, skills, processes, and deliverables (study plans, reports, personas).
• Strong planning skills – you drive the research road-map, plan, and execute a wide variety of studies independently – interviews, tests, surveys, workshops.
• Knowledge of what to do, when to do, why and how to do it.
• Being able to provide a toolbox and coordinate the process of putting UX guidance in place.
• Experience with prioritization – being able to provide high-value research in while meeting deadlines.
• Being able to combine qualitative and quantitative research.
• Storytelling – connecting user insights, problems, or needs to long and short term business goals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English required.
