Job Description

The University and Career Guidance Counsellor & Sixth form Year Leader at Regent International School is responsible for the effective implementation of all policies and procedures which affect student readiness and placement into the university of their choice.

Duties of University & Career Guidance Counsellor

  • This position will also be responsible for all elements of educational provision for pupils in the Sixth Form (Years 12 and 13), including pupils’ academic progress.
  • The incumbent will also be responsible for the overall welfare, discipline and administration of all pupils in the Sixth Form, including taking a leading and active role in embedding a kind and aspirational culture, which promotes the wellbeing, and supports the engagement and development, of all pupils.

Job Requirements of University & Career Guidance Counsellor

  • The position requires a Master’s degree in Career Counseling, Career Education, College Student Affairs, or a Bachelor’s degree in the same fields with a minimum of three years of directly related experience with a commitment to providing high quality careers guidance.
