Job Purpose of A Data Center Technician

• Ensure overall availability and reliability to meet or exceed defined service levels of data center operations.
• Carry out repairs & maintenance as and when needed in data center facilities.

Your Job Duties As A Data Center Technician At Amazon UAE (Dubai)

• Carry out hardware & network diagnostics followed by physical repairs and may include participation in an on call rotation.
• Install equipment, create documentation, innovate solutions and fix / repairs complex problems within the data center space.
• Act as a dedicated member of a team responsible for the operation of industry leading geographically diverse, large scale, and critical facilities.
• In order to be successful, ensure work prioritization, organizational skills, effective communication and ability to react quickly.

Qualification & Experience?

Essential

• High School Diploma.
• 1 plus years of computer hardware experience (troubleshooting & repairs).
• 1 plus years of computer networking experience.

Preferred

• An Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience in an IT related field.
• 1 plus years of Linux operating systems experience.
• 2 plus years of computer hardware, including troubleshooting and repairs skills experience.
• 2 plus years of data center experience.
• 1 plus years of of Perl, Python, Bash or other scripting languages experience.
• 2 plus years of experience with hardware platforms such as Dell, HP, Foxconn, Super Micro etc is a plus.

• UAE national.
