NAS Dubai is looking for a creative and dedicated Teacher of Art and Photography to join its flagship campus starting 16th August 2026. This full time role is based in Dubai and is open to qualified educators who hold a university degree in Art, Photography, or a related subject plus a recognised teaching qualification. If you love helping students express themselves through drawing, painting, digital media, and camera work, this school offers an outstanding environment. You will deliver the UK National Curriculum, IGCSE, A Levels, and the IB Diploma Programme for art and photography. Moreover, you will challenge students to set ambitious creative goals and use innovative teaching practices.

Key Responsibilities for Teacher of Art & Photography Nord Anglia Education Dubai, AE

• Plan and deliver engaging art and photography lessons that follow the UK National Curriculum, IGCSE, A Levels, and IB Diploma Programme. Inspire students of all ages and abilities to develop their creative skills and visual literacy.
• Teach a range of artistic media including drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, and digital art. For photography, cover both traditional darkroom techniques and digital editing using industry standard software.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback. Prepare students for external examinations and portfolio submissions. Set ambitious targets and help each learner reach their full potential.
• Organise and supervise art and photography exhibitions, both within the school and in the wider community. Encourage students to enter competitions and showcase their work.
• Create a classroom culture where there are no limits to what students can achieve. Build a safe, inspiring environment that encourages experimentation and risk taking.
• Work closely with colleagues across the creative arts department. Share best practice and develop cross curricular projects. Act as a strong ambassador for the school, engaging parents and the wider community. Finally, participate in professional development through Nord Anglia University.

Qualifications

You need a university degree in Art, Photography, Fine Arts, or a related subject. A recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS, or equivalent is essential. You should have considerable teaching experience and strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum, IGCSE, A Levels, or IB Diploma for art and photography. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and Lightroom is highly desirable. The school looks for educators who are receptive to feedback, ready to embrace change, and able to create energy and excitement in the classroom. You must also meet visa related requirements for the UAE.
