Sushi Maker Majid Al Futtaim Dubai

Majid Al Futtaim is currently looking for a Sushi Maker who will be responsible for carrying out the production of all menu items, preparing the required mise-en-place, and ensuring the proper handling and storage of food. This is a mid level full time role. The salary for this role ranges from 3000 AED to 6000 AED, which may be slightly negotiatable during the interview.

Responsibilities of Sushi Maker

• Prepare menu items/substitute items.
• Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish.
• Maintain food logs.
• Monitor the quality and quantity of food that is prepared.
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
• Good knowledge of Allergens in different types of food.
• Prepare a rich sushi menu with various main ingredients and raw fish (for example, salmon, tuna, unagi).
• Prepare all types of sushi, including maki, nigiri and sashimi Expertly cutting, slicing, and filleting different types of fish.

Eligibility Requirements for Role of A Sushi Maker

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of related culinary experience.
• Experience working with high volume production.
