Job Purpose of A Storekeeper

• Update in system for store activities pertaining to inventory and overall control of store.
• Reporting to Manager, Storekeeper is responsible for providing comprehensive supplies service including receipt, correct storage & accounting of all stock’s issues.
• Ensure that all inventory control /store keeping related activities are coordinated and performed in an effortless and efficient manner.

Duties of A Storekeeper

• Update of reports on inventory quantities.
• Maintain proper records.
• To initiate purchase requisitions for the replacement of stock of all regular.
• Stores items whenever the stock level of any item of store approaches the minimum limit fixed in respect there of.
• To check and receive purchased materials forwarded by the receiving department and to arrange for the storage in appropriate places.
• Reserve a particular material for a specific job as required.
• To issue materials in required quantities against authorised requisition notes/material lists.
• Adheres to Safe working instruction and SOPs.
• Adheres to near miss and incident reporting.
• Performs any other related activities, as requested.
• Ensure readiness of store for internal or external audit in short notice.

Who Can Apply?

Qualification

• Minimum High School Certificate and Diploma in material management.

Experience

• 3-5 years of previous proven experience.

Skills Desired

• Strong verbal & written communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
