Ahalia Hospital UAE is seeking a trained Sterilization / CSSD technician to join their facility located in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Role of Technician

This is a full-time on-site role, where the incumbent will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with decontamination, sterilization, infection control and operating room cleanliness.

Duties of Technician

  • Clean, sterilize, assemble, prepare and install all healthcare and laboratory equipment needed for medical procedures , examinations and surgeries,
  • Collect contaminated and used instruments, and equipment for decontamination.
  • Operate and monitor sterilization equipment.
  • Test and report any issues with the sterilization equipment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant certification or diploma in sterilization techniques, such as CS/SPD certification or DBD diploma.
  • 1-2 years experience working in an operating room environment is a plus.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong understanding of decontamination, sterilization, and infection control techniques.
  • Unnderstanding of operating room procedures and medical terminology.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to follow protocols and guidelines accurately.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
