Job Overview of A Staff Nurse

• Understands, supports and promotes the mission, vision and values of SSMC.
• Provides age appropriate patient care according to the Nursing Scope of Practice.
• Adheres to and promotes the Professional Nurses Code of Conduct for Abu Dhabi.
• Promotion of health and delivery of health education.
• Provide good care, satisfy customer and patient safety.

Your Duties As A Staff Nurse

• Demonstrates competence with the care and assessment of burns patients, including the prevention of complications.
• Carry out analysis of burns wounds related to the source of the burn.
• Demonstrates knowledge and competence with the Burns Pathway and implements the pathway with the multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrates knowledge and competence of the prevention of Ventilator Associated Pneumonia (VAP).
• Demonstrates knowledge and competence of the prevention of Central Line Associated Blood Stream Infections (CLABSI).
• Demonstrates knowledge and competence of the prevention of Catheter Associated Urinary Tract Infections (CAUTI).
• Demonstrates knowledge and competence of the CUSP program.
• Proactive to identify and reduce risk of harm to patients.

Eligible Candidates?

Qualification

• Bachelor degree in nursing.

Experience

• Not less than 2 years clinical experience in a tertiary healthcare facility.
• International accreditation experience.

Nationality

• UAE national.

License / Certification

• Valid license to practice.
•  BLS.
