Key Responsibilities for Registered Nurse

• Deliver safe, evidence-based patient care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. Follow established clinical standards and relevant UAE healthcare legislation at all times.
• Identify, prevent, and manage clinical risks proactively. Apply risk management policies and procedures to protect patient safety across every shift.
• Take active ownership of patient experience. Create a calm, respectful, and therapeutic environment that reflects Mediclinic’s patient-centred care standards.
• Supervise, mentor, and coach junior nurses and student nurses. Contribute directly to building clinical competence within your team on the floor.
• Document patient care accurately and completely using hospital information systems. Maintain records that meet both clinical and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the wider clinical team. Use both verbal and written English effectively across all care interactions.
• Participate in ward-level quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and departmental education activities as directed by nursing leadership.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognised institution.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, current at time of appointment.
• Minimum two years of clinical nursing experience in your home country. UAE experience is a significant advantage.
• Valid UAE nursing licence or eligibility to obtain one through the relevant emirate health authority (DHA, HAAD/DOH, or MOH).
• Comprehensive knowledge of patient safety standards and clinical risk management principles.
• Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications. Experience with hospital information systems is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Basic Arabic language skills are an advantage in daily patient interactions.
