Scope of Nurse

As a part of multidisciplinary team, they will monitor the patients, maintain the clinical records and administer medication on the of prescription of specialists

Responsibilities of Nurse

• Responsible for taking the vital signs of patients and observing their condition.
• Inform the specialist immediately if the  patient’s health deteriorates.
• Record the clinical status of patients.
• Provide quality care during patient’s stay, keeping up to the standard of hospital.
• Provide assistance to patient in admission and discharge process.
• Educate the patients and their attendants regarding treatment protocol and preventive measures.
• Make sure that the cleanliness and hygiene standards are met.
• Provide assistance to the physician in diagnostic and medical procedures.
• Administer intramuscular and intravenous medications on physician’s instructions.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or Equivalent.
• 2-3 years clinical experience as a RN.
• Current and valid National License.
• MOH certified.

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of medical ethics.
• Knowledge of medical procedures.
• Having caring attitude.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Multitasking ability.
