Responsibilities of Registered Emergency Nurse

• Coordinate and provide evidence based, patient centric nursing care. Ensure compliance to professional and ethical standards set by regulatory authorities and the hospital.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort by identifying, managing and preventing risks in accordance with clinical risk procedures, policies, and relevant legislation.
• Responsible for delivering quality patient care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team whole ensuring compliance to set clinical standards and relevant legislation.
• Willing to take active responsibility for positive patient experiences.
• Create a conducive environment on the guidance of nursing leadership.
• Take samples for diagnostic tests.
• Report to senior nurse / charge nurse.
• Monitor patient’s condition vigilantly.
• Actively supervise, coach and mentor paramedic and nursing employees.
• Convey to physician/ consultant in case of deterioration of patient’s health.
• Create and contribute to a learning environment that is necessary for employee competence.

Education & Experience

The requirements for the job of Registered Nurse Emergency are as under:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience in Emergency Department – Must be recent.
• DHA License holder.
