This full time role is based in Dubai and is open to qualified educators who hold a university degree in physical education or a related subject plus a recognised teaching qualification. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons that follow the UK National Curriculum, IGCSE, A Levels, and IB Diploma Programme. Inspire students of all ages and abilities to develop physical skills, teamwork, and a love for sport.
• Lead the netball programme across the school, including coaching school teams, organising training sessions, and arranging fixtures with other schools. Develop players from beginner to competitive level.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback. Set ambitious targets and help each learner reach their full potential in physical education.
• Organise and participate in extra curricular sports activities, house competitions, and school events. Encourage student participation in regional and national netball tournaments.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, keeping them informed of student progress and sporting achievements. Work closely with colleagues in the PE department and across the school.
• Create a classroom and court culture where there are no limits to what students can achieve. Act as a strong ambassador for the school, engaging the wider community. Finally, participate in professional development through Nord Anglia University.

Qualifications

You need a university degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related subject. A recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS, or equivalent is essential. You should have considerable teaching experience and strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum, IGCSE, A Levels, or IB Diploma for PE. Netball coaching qualifications and proven experience coaching netball at school or club level are required. The school looks for educators who are receptive to feedback, ready to embrace change, and able to create energy and excitement in lessons. You must also meet visa related requirements for the UAE.
