About the Role

The Middle School and Music Administrator is a dual-role position combining Middle School Administration at 0.6 FTE and Music Administration Coordination at 0.4 FTE. The postholder provides essential administrative, pastoral, and logistical support to both the Middle School leadership team and the Music Department, contributing directly to the smooth day-to-day operation of these two busy areas. Furthermore, the role demands excellent organisational ability, a high level of discretion when managing confidential information, and the capacity to manage competing priorities effectively across two departments within a full-time working week. Key Responsibilities for Middle School and Music Administrator at Dubai College Dubai

• Provide administrative and logistical support to the Middle School leadership team
• Coordinate the scheduling, communications, and records for the Music Department
• Manage correspondence, diary management, and filing for both departments efficiently
• Support the organisation of Middle School events, assemblies, and parent communications
• Maintain accurate databases and records for students, staff, and departmental activities
• Assist with the planning and delivery of Music concerts, performances, and rehearsals
• Liaise between teaching staff, students, parents, and external stakeholders
• Monitor and manage departmental resources, equipment bookings, and room allocations
• Contribute to the upkeep of the school’s digital platforms and information systems
• Provide general administrative support to school leadership as required

Requirements

• Proven experience in an administrative or office management role
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and school management systems
• High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Experience in an educational environment is advantageous
• DBS check or equivalent international police clearance required
