Role of Medical Sales Intern

Partner with the medical sales representatives in the field gaining exposure to a day in their life, coordinating sales activities, maintaining good customer relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities of Medical Sales Intern

• Cover assigned doctors and pharmacies timely. Achieve the sales objectives of assigned area.
• Maintain friendly yet professional relations with physicians and pharmacists.
• Provide relevant product information to the physicians on delivering samples.
• Participate in training sessions, conferences and meetings.
• Play your part as a team member of sales team to develop and implement marketing strategies in order to increase product sale.
• Analyze market conditions for identifying the competitors.
• Keep and update sales records.  Document them for feedback and reporting.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy/relevant field.
• No experience is required.

Knowledge & Skills

• An interest in working in sales and a familiarity with the current sales techniques.
• Good communication skills required to deal with internal and external customers.
• An awareness of everything commercial in the current day and age, business familiarity and understanding.
• Willingness to learn, actively solicit feedback and constructive criticism from others.
