About the Role
The Medical Physicist at American Hospital Dubai will contribute specialised clinical expertise to the hospital’s allied health services, supporting a wide range of patients across multiple clinical settings. You will conduct thorough assessments, implement evidence-based interventions, and monitor outcomes in accordance with departmental protocols and best-practice guidelines. Furthermore, you will maintain accurate clinical records and actively participate in quality improvement activities. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and develop evidence-based management plans aligned with departmental protocols
- Implement clinical interventions, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatment plans as clinically indicated
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated, patient-centred care across clinical settings
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the hospital information and records management system
- Ensure compliance with departmental protocols, hospital policies, and UAE regulatory and licensing requirements
- Provide patient and family education to promote health literacy, self-management, and treatment adherence
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and departmental development programmes
- Report adverse events and near misses in accordance with the hospital’s incident reporting procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant allied health, clinical science, or technical discipline from an accredited institution
- Current DHA/HAAD licence or documented eligibility for UAE allied health professional licensure
- Minimum 2–3 years of post-qualification clinical experience in a relevant specialty or setting
- Relevant specialist certification (e.g., CT/MRI operator certification, physiotherapy board registration) as applicable
- Strong patient assessment, clinical reasoning, and procedural skills
- Proficiency in clinical documentation and relevant departmental information systems
- Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork skills with a commitment to patient-centred care

Salary & Benefits
