Responsibilities of Logistics Manager

Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers
Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipments
Resolve any arising problems or complaints
Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce
Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements

Requirements for Role of Logistics Manager

The requirements for the job of Logistics Manager are as following.

BS in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain
Proven working experience of 2 – 5 years as a Logistics Manager.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

Previous experience in similar position in distribution company.
Hands-on experience to set up Logistics department from scratch with proper structure.
Ability to work under pressure
Good communication skills with different level within the organization
Previous experience in preparing customs declarations and shipping documents.
Other logistics matters as required.
