Role of Laser Technician

Ensure that the patient fully understands the procedure, calibration of equipment and laser before the procedure starts. Also monitor the vital signs and reactions of patients during laser treatments.

Responsibilities of Laser Technician

• Provide consultancy services to patients. Answer their queries and assess their concerns regarding the procedure.
• Perform skin analysis in order to determine laser treatment.
• Calibrate the laser and equipment before each use.
• Administer laser procedures including Hair Removal, Facial Rejuvenation, Wrinkle Reduction, Treatment of Thread Veins and Pigmented Lesions, Chemical Resurfacing, Active Acne and more.
• With the on going follow ups, develop the treatment plan for patients.
• Record the medical history of the patients and maintain the clinical records.
• Provide quality care and maintain a pleasant yet professional relationship with the patients.
• Assist the Physician in the procedures.

 Education & Experience Required for Laser Technician

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing / Laser Technology.
• Minimum 2 year experience in laser treatments.
