Junior Financial Analyst Amana Healthcare Abu Dhabi UAE

Mubadala Health is presently looking for a Junior Financial Analyst to join them at Amana Healthcare in Abu Dhabi. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role is responsible for supporting and assisting the Finance activities within MH assets. This role is also responsible for supporting the function’s strategic planning activities as well as assisting the implementation of efficient operational activities within the function to ensure the achievement of MH assets’ strategic goals and objectives.

Duties of Junior Financial Analyst

• Adheres to the division’s policies, procedures and standards while ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory bodies.
• Contributes to developing the division’s policies and procedures and provides recommendations towards improving them wherever applicable.
• Contributes towards an innovative culture of continuous improvement for enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Participates in meetings and maintains professionalism and confidentiality as per the organization’s standard code of conduct.
• Completes personal performance evaluation cycle in a timely manner.
• Assists Finance Business Partner on Preparing monthly revenue reports, formulates variance analysis on a monthly, quarterly and year-to-date basis, prepares the rejection analysis reports, as well as various OPEX and COS reporting elements.
• Assists Finance Business Partner on Works on asset scorecards, annual budget and CAPEX monitoring.
• Preparation of various operational reports such as: length of stay, bed utilization reports, productivity ratios, statistics, etc.
• Monitors cash price calculations for clinical services, creates business cases for new medical equipment.
• Ensures compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and directives.
• Communicates clearly and impactfully to achieve high productivity and to maintain strong relationships with external/ internal stakeholders and team members.
• Maintains good interdivisional liaison to ensure smooth implementation of strategic and operational activities.

Your Duties as Junior Financial Analyst

• Act as an advocate for the vulnerable, challenging poor practice and discriminatory attitudes and Behavior relating to their care.
• Contribute to the wider corporate and organizational development needs as appropriate within the scope of practice.
• Take responsibility to ensure complaints, concerns, and recommendations are escalated appropriately and documented.
• Responsible to take action to report incidents, including near misses; to ensure as an organization we learn.
• Compliance with Occupational Safety & Health Management System which integrates with the Health and Safety regulations of the facility.
• Comply and facilitate adherence of all staff to organizational policies, processes, and procedures.

Qualification & Experience

Following is the eligibility criteria for the role of Junior Financial Analyst at Muabadala Health:

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related fields.
• Master’s Degree is preferable.
• 2+ years of progressive career experience in a Financial healthcare function or similar.
• Semi Qualified – CMA, CPA, ACCA, ACA,CA, CFA or equivalent is essential.
