Key Responsibilities for Instructor in Meat Science Al Ain

• Plan, prepare, and deliver laboratory sessions across Meat Science, Animal Welfare, and Post-harvest Physiology of Plant and Animal Systems courses.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety, ethical, and animal welfare standards in all lab environments. Enforce these standards consistently with every student cohort.
• Develop and update laboratory manuals and instructional materials. Design these resources to improve student learning outcomes each semester.
• Assist in delivering practical demonstrations that complement lecture content. Coordinate timing and materials with the relevant course instructors.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Animal Science, Food Science, or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
• Specialization in Meat Science or a directly related area is a strong advantage.
• Demonstrated experience teaching or assisting with laboratory-based courses in animal or food sciences.
• Practical knowledge of meat processing, quality evaluation, food safety standards, and post-harvest handling systems.
• Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and animal welfare regulations relevant to food and agricultural science environments.
• Strong organizational skills. You can manage multiple lab sections, material preparation, and student assessments simultaneously.
