Regent International School in Dubai is seeking a Head of English to lead the English department. This middle leadership role requires an outstanding English teacher with a proven track record of raising attainment and leading a department to success.
Key Responsibilities for Head of English at Regent International School Dubai
- Lead the English department, setting strategic direction for teaching and learning
- Manage department staff, curriculum delivery and resources
- Monitor and improve student outcomes through data analysis
- Teach English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4
- Conduct observations, lead CPD and support teacher development
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in English or English Literature
- PGCE, QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Minimum 5 years teaching with at least 2 in leadership
- Proven record of improving English examination results
