Instructor Clinical Psychology (CMHS) – Abu Dhabi Full-time

The United Arab Emirates University is hiring an Instructor Clinical Psychology (CMHS) for its Abu Dhabi campus. This is a full-time faculty position within the College of Medicine and Health Sciences.

A university in the UAE needs an Instructor in Nutrition and Health to join its Department of Nutrition and Health. This full time role involves teaching in both the BSc in Dietetics and the BSc in Nutritional Science programs. You will deliver high quality instruction and support student learning. You will also participate in course content development and curriculum improvement. Experience with internship coordination or supervision is highly desirable. You will advise undergraduate students and supervise them in projects and practical activities. Candidates for the Instructor Clinical Psychology role should note: if you hold an MSc in Human Nutrition or a closely related field, this role suits you. Prior experience in teaching and supervising undergraduate students is required.

Key Responsibilities for Instructor Clinical Psychology

• Deliver high quality instruction for BSc in Dietetics and BSc in Nutritional Science programs
• Participate in course content development and curriculum improvement
• Support and supervise students in academic and practical activities including projects and internships
• Provide academic advising to undergraduate students
• Contribute to meeting accreditation requirements
• Use innovative teaching approaches to enhance student engagement
• Bring complementary or emerging expertise to enrich the programs
• Participate actively in departmental activities and initiatives
• Work collaboratively with faculty and staff
• Help expand the scope of teaching and learning in nutrition and health

Qualifications

• MSc in Human Nutrition or a closely related field
• Prior experience in teaching undergraduate nutrition courses
• Experience supervising undergraduate students in academic or practical settings
• Preference for candidates with expertise in clinical nutrition, dietetics, or applied patient care
• Preference for candidates with professional registration as a dietitian or nutritionist such as RD, RDN, or UKVRN
• Experience with internship coordination or supervision is highly desirable
• Familiarity with accreditation processes and curriculum development is an asset
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to deliver high quality teaching and engage students effectively
